Colter's original recording of this song, released on her "I'm Jessi Colter" album was called "What happened to blue eyes," and the original chorus started with this line.
However, by the time this song was released on the "Wanted! The Outlaws" album, the choruses' first line had changed to "I'm looking for blue eyes," and the album cover lists the song under that name.
