The Country Place
In the late 60’s and early 70’s, Jim Ed Brown hosted a weekly program called The Country Place. The setting was a chalet in the mountains of east Tennessee.
Each week a special guest would drop in to sing a few songs. There was a regular cast that included Blake Emmons, The Lancers and a new face to Nashville, Crystal Gayle. Emmons co-hosted the Nashville syndicated music show with Jim Ed Brown for Show Biz Inc.
Each show made you feel like you were sitting around with the gang and enjoying a pleasant evening of music.
